c.r.i.m.e. is a queer student collective at lmu open to lgbt+/questioning folks.
led by majority queer students of color, c.r.i.m.e. (caring radically in marginalized environments) enacts care for and with queer Black and poc at lmu, including alumni. we do this by disentangling ourselves from hierarchical, elitist, and capitalist practices. rather, we provide mutual aid through healing, learning, decolonizing, and community-building.
since starting in oct 2020, c.r.i.m.e. has done mutual aid work for qtpoc through resource sharing and our lmu qtpoc mutual aid fund. we have raised and distributed more than $30,000 for one another.

For Black History Month 2021, Black Queer Space created Poetry & Pose, a month long celebration of our member's poetry, artwork, and photography.
We are currently selling copies of Poetry & Pose: An Anthology, a culmination of the art that came out of that month. In addition, a variety of merchandise and a photoset are available to purchase.
All proceeds of our merchandise go to C.R.I.M.E.'s QTPOC mutual aid fund.
